Ingredients: Serves 6 *What are these foods?
- 2 lbs tofu*
- 1-1/2 cups almonds
- 2-3 tablespoons shoyu soy sauce*
- 1 cup water
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 quart mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cups onions, diced
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1/4 cup shoyu soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sea salt*
- 2 tablespoons thyme
- 2 tablespoons basil
- 1 large bunch kale, chopped
Directions:
- Spread almonds on a cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for approx. 10 minutes until done.
- Toss with 2-3 tablespoons shoyu and let cool.
- Then place in a food processor with water, garlic and puree.
- Sauté mushrooms and onions in sesame oil for 5-10 minutes.
- Add 1/4 cup shoyu, herbs and kale.
- Simmer for another 10 minutes or until the kale is tender.
